DAGEKI WORLD KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2024
MESSAGE TO HEADS OF PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS
Osu! Hanshi, Shihan, Sensei, Senpai, responsible for a participatiing karate school,
It will be our pleasure to welcome you free of charge at the Dageki 2024. We invite you to register your school as soon as March 15, 2024, to entitle your students to register as competitors.
Coaches
- Each coach accompanying your competitors will have to pay the spectator entrance fee ($20CAD).
- You will need to provide us with the name of the coaches who will accompany your competitors on the day of competition.
- A maximum of 8 coaches per school – less if the number of competitors is less than 8 – will have access to the competition area to accompany their school’s competitors.
- Coaches and competitors will have to remain outside the competition area when not in action.
- Only one coach at a time will be allowed to stay near a tatami when his student is called to compete.
Competition Rules
- You, your coaches and competitors must be acquainted with the rules in force at the Dageki Championship 2024 and agree to comply with them.
Divisions and Subdivisions
- Enrolled participants will be grouped into pre-established divisions based on the selected type of event, age, belt level, gender and weight.
- A minimum of two participants per division is required; if only one candidate is enrolled, he will be notified and reclassified, if possible.
- If too many participants are enrolled into the same division, the division will be splitted into two or more sub-divisions.
Trophies and Podium – Kata and Fighting with protection gear
- The three winners of the division (subdivision) will be announced on the mat.
- The three winners will go to the podium to receive their trophies and be photographed.
- 4 – 13 years old: The other participants will go to the podium to receive their medals.
