DAGEKI 2024 – ELITE COMPETITOR REGISTRATION

The Elite Competitor agrees to comply by the Rules into effect at the Dageki Championship 2024.

The elite competitor must first create (or have) a Smoothcomp User Account before proceeding with his registration for the Dageki 2024.

The registration for Elite Kata and/or Elite Fighting (Knockdown) must be made:

• • by the competitor, if aged 18 or over
  • by a parent or person in charge of the competitor, if aged 16 or 17.

Please note:

• • There are no competition fees to compete in Elite Kata and Elite Fighting
    • NB: Registration can be modified or cancelled no later than May 5, 2024.
  • The competitor must ensure that his school is registered on Smoothcomp before registering as an elite competitor.
  • Registering as an elite competitor allows one to register for the Full Contact Kumite Seminar at the reduced rate of $40CAD.
  • MANDATORY MEDICAL FORM: To be submitted by the competitor in Elite Fighting (Knockdown) to ensure his participation in the Dageki 2024.

REGISTRATION IN 2 STEPS – by the Elite Competitor – or parent is aged 16 or 17

1. Creation of a Smoothcomp User Account – in the name of the elite competitor
   • Go to Smoothcomp
   • Click on the Create Account button
     • First and last name of elite competitor
     • Email address of élite competitor (or parent if aged 16 or 17)
     • Password
   • Accept the release of liability for creating a Smoothcomp User Account
   • Click on Settings
     • Complete the elite competitor’s profile: nationality, date of birth, gender, tel., city, province, country of residence
     • Select the elite competitor’s Karate School (Academy) (which must have been previously registered on Smoothcomp).
2. Registration for Dageki 2024 as an elite competitor
   • Log into the elite competitor’s Smoothcomp User Account
   • Click on the Events tab
   • Enter Dageki 2024 in the Search Event
   • Click on Dageki 2024
   • Click on the Register button.
   • Select the competitor profile and proceed with registration:
     • Add at least one event (Elite Kata or Elite Fighting) according to age, kyu, sex and weight
       • Consult the correspondence table to identify the competitor’s KYU
     • Accept the release of liability for the Dageki 2024 registration
     • If desired, add a second event (Elite Kata or Elite Fighting) and proceed as above
     • If eligible and if desired, add the Kumite Seminar ($40)
   • Complete payment online, if any
   • NB: An email confirming payment will be sent.
